TV Adapter 3.0 RCA + Optical Soundbar

Does the TV adapter have the option to use an optical input instead of the RCA input. If so. Try using a 1 to 2 optical splitter to connect both TV adapter and soundbar.

the analog audio only shows up green when audio is played and turns off if no audio and only static is detected.

the TV adapter has optical in and out. you can go 1st into tv adapter then form tv adapter out into the soundbar.

edit: so what I’m trying to say it uses optical chain, TV adapter → soundbar.

right now it seems your TV doesn’t output both simultaneously. you could also go into TV settings and check sound play through optical and headphone.

The TV Adapter 3 units I have both an optical input and an optical out. I plug the optical cable from the TV into the Adapter input and run another optical cable to my soundbar. Both work that way for my Oticon Real aids and older Sonos soundbar.
