Question about using salary sacrifice in the UK to acquire hearing aids in a tax efficient manner.
As a Civil Servant I’m debarred from using the Access to Work programme and the equivalent internal workplace adaptations scheme can’t/won’t cover private hearing aids (cos that’s what the NHS is for). However Gemini indicates could be eligible for a salary sacrifice set up. I know Boots offer a pay monthly option but having used salary sacrifice to purchase my bicycle it was a good deal for me.
Is this remotely practicable or am I just hurting at the idea of £££££££ to acquire new HAs?
