I am new to hearing aids. I obtained through government subvention the Signia Pure 312AX but the audiologist only setup the universal program and i’m looking at options to be able to create new programs for different scenarios since the unit seems to support it. I’d also like to look at the tinnitus options/features since i’ve have tinnitus for over 20 years now and if I can also find some relief, big bonus. I still need to buy the unit to program but im not worried about that. I’ve seen people talking about giving a download link for the software. Is it free ? Can i really download the program (if someone is nice enough to provide a download link) and use it or are there extra costs for the software as well ?
New to this, have had my hearing aids for a week now, but nice to be able to hear better now. Any information / help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
James

I am thinking about giving a try to self fitting my Oticon More 1 .
I have gone through all the files, watched videos and installed Genie 2 together with Noah Wireless 2, connected the hearing aids and looked at all the adjustment aspects.
I now have the feeling that the more I know, the more I realize how complicated adjusting hearing aids is and I am still too afraid to change the settings.
That is why I would like to start by adjusting my old hearing aids, which I use for sports: Advance from Specsavers from 2016, These belong to the Sivantos family. My question now is:
Does anyone know if these can be adjusted with the Connexx software and if so which version and where I can download it?
Thanks in advance

Hi there, I wouldn’t worry to much, once you start you’ll see just how easy it is! But good idea to start on your old back ups, unfortunately I believe Specsavers are locked out for projects, you’ll need to track down another set from somewhere, be aware that for Signia models the Noahlink wireless programming device is used for NX platform onwards otherwise you’ll need to buy another programmer, this goes for any older models from most other brands.

Thanks Tenkan for your quick and clear answer.
You are right, buying obsolete would be putting the cart before the horse in my case.
I will have a look on Ebay for backup HAs. For convenience reasons (same software, domes, etc) it will probably be Oticon.
Thanks again.
