I have NHS issued Phonak Bolero hearing aids with special Hypo-allergenic ear-moulds. They are great but I produce quite a lot of earwax. I regularly clean them with a nifty little Ultrasonic jewellery cleaner that uses a water bath. I take the tube off the ear hook and dump them in the water and set the system going. Great so, they are clean when they come out. After that I have a 30 minute battle trying to get the tube back onto the ear hook, much stress and swearing later I do eventually get them back on the hook. I only take the tube off the hook because I am worried about the little white bit in the ear hook. Is this vital, because if it is not I will take it out and just put the ear hook into the cleaner as well thus removing the need to take the tube off with its associated stress and often serious ranting?! Cheers
