Using Target software with AMD laptop

So I am going to be doing some extended traveling and would like to have a way to do some tweaks to my aids while gone. I plan on getting a laptop and will take along my Noahlink wireless and install the Target and Genie 2 software on it.

N\My question is I am looking at an AMD laptop for extended battery life and I did some research but cant find any concrete info to let me know if for sure the USB based Noahlink wireless will work, as well as the Target software on AMD processors. Does anyone here have that experience? thx

Thanks tenkan for the reply i doo already have an ARM laptop so I know that does not work. Just wanted to make sure before I spend the money so looks like I should be ok.

It is also recommended not to use Windows 11 Home, I had to switch to Windows 11 Pro after experiencing frequent crashes of many hearing aid fitting software on Windows 11 Home.

I’m also doing extended travelling next year and I’m also giving up my accommodation as I’m only renting so every thing I own, will be in my Osprey 70L backpack.

I was looking to get a smaller laptop so it didn’t take up much room.

Can I ask how you plan to keep your Noahlink safe so it doesn’t get damaged?

I’ll have to look up the laptop you mention.
