What is the beeping long power button hold on Oticon Real?

If I hold the power button for 10 seconds on my Oticon Real 1 and keep holding even after the power off chime, the hearing aids don’t shut off but produce a beep pattern I haven’t heard before that gets transferred to the other aid. What is this?

Flight mode? If so, it disables Bluetooth in the aids. The manual says it is activated by a seven second button hold.
