Thank you Bob… Oh, I am 10 times better than I was, with the Beta Blocker Propranolol… After Sepsis, I asked my Doctor, “what the hell was happening to me” I was getting the symptoms of a full blown heart attack, including the pain & palpitations, 3, 4 or sometimes 5 times a day, for no apparent reason, he said “you have anxiety”, I said “but, I don’t feel anxious” he partially explained, but not fully, my brain is releasing a chemical randomly, basically putting me into fight or flight mode, for no apparent reason… Sepsis, attacks your vital organs, billions of bacteria enter the bloodstream, starving your brain of oxygen, your immune system becomes overwhelmed, and shuts down, but obviously the bacteria can damage these organs, I believe it damaged my brain, either the bacteria or lack of oxygen, or both? He said, there isn’t any cure for anxiety, and you are on Beta Blockers for the rest of your life… Not very reassuring, but you learn to live with anxiety, and for the most part, I am fine, as long as I keep taking the medication
