Was the done maybe with hearing aids already in?

I’m just trying to undertstand how you rely on an Intepreter, but yet your ‘worst’ hearing is only 35db? Normal goes from 0 to 20 or 25db, and a slight/mild hearing loss starts at 25db. In most places your loss wouldn’t even qualify you for a Deaf/ school, as it’s so very mild.

AH! That explains a LOT!

The real measure of one’s hearing loss is obtained by an unaided (one done without hearing aids).

What we/I can tell from your Aided Audiogram is that your right ear’s hearing aid works wonderfully to bring your hearing completely into the normal range. Your left ear’s aid almost brings you mostly into the normal range, with only a few low/mid frequencies that are just outside of normal.

That starts it at the beginning of the moderate range. Do you have a loss in your right ear at all?

A Mild hearing loss is 25 to 40db.
Moderate is 40 to 70db.
Severe is 70 to 95db.
Profound is over 95.
