Which hearing aid brands have a FIND MY feature that works with smartphones

I plan to get a new pair but it must have the FIND MY tracking feature on the manufacturers smartphone app. Would those who have this feature please reply with what brand/model. There doesn’t seem to be an efficient way to find this?

Starkey Genesis and Starkey Edge AI have the “Find My Hearing Aid” feature.

My Jabra Enhanced Pro 20, purchased from Costco, has that feature. However, there is only one flaw that will affect the function and that’s the battery life. These hearing aids have rechargeable batteries. That means if you lose a hearing aid, you must find it within the time that the battery will last. Rechargeable batteries will last about 18 hours maximum. However, replaceable batteries will last longer, up to a few days, continually powered. For the find feature to work, the hearing aids must be powered on.

Not sure if this is your first pair on ’s or not, but my suggestion is simple. Put your hearing aids on in the morning after you shower, take them off at the end of the day. Only take them off if you have to and put them in the charger, nowhere else.

I lose stuff all the time, but I’ve been wearing hearing aids for over 4 years, and never misplaced any of them.

Mine also came with a Velcro flapped, small pouch. This is used to place your hearing aids into temporarily when you go to the barber or hair stylist and you don’t want to carry your charging case. Otherwise your advice is 100% correct.

Thank you to everyone for your replies. They are really helpful! I wish I had known about this website before I bought the Jabra 500! I am still going to wait a few days before I order a replacement and have to live with the Jabras for a while! Asking for a replacement means the 100 day free trial is voided. So much for being able to return the hearing aids during the trial “for any reason”! I think not wanting a device that doesn’t have FIND MY is a good reason! My bad??

Cochlear implants have an inside implanted device and a second outside device called the processor. The processor is held on by a magnet to the implant that is just under the scalp.

Modern processors have many of the same things hearing aids do. Bluetooth connectivity is one of them. That and GPS maps are what supports “Find My Hearing Aid” or processor in my case.

Does that aid have Bluetooth?
Does it connect to your phone?
If the aid is still.on it’s Bluetooth is still working.
You can use your phone to find it with the Bluetooth.

My wife lost hers on a mile long road with rocks and grass along the edges. We backtracked her walk and eventually found that aid.

Huh is that true? That wouldn’t work with most consumer laws in the western world, is there a obvious or logical reason for this I wonder, certainly doesn’t seem fair.

In that case I think that you will get the hearing aid position only if it is within the bluetooth range, otherwise the app will not be able to provide you the last position at which it was still connected. When you disable the feature, the app shows a warning about this circumstance.
