"WIDEX GPS Compass" File Formats, Firmware / editing, uploading?

Hi,

in WIDEX Compas GPS v4.5, the 700mb file “RessurceData.s3db” (Simple Sloppy Semantic Database (S3DB) - SQLLite) has all the graphics, videos and (ZEN) soundfiles.

1.)
Did anyone use tools like, SQL Lite Administrator, to exchange wav files for example ?
Id love to try to upload my very own wav files.

2.)
How much of free storage would a WIDEX hearing aid have, in terms of kilobyte/megabyte ?

3.)
What kind of chips and firmware would be inside a WIDEX aid ?

It looks like the DFU firmware (Included in GPS Compass 4.5) for the Pro-Link programmer, is based on DFU BlueCore2 (?)

So, seeing that Compass GPS can “only” update the firmware of the “programming devices” and not the hearing aids, I really wonder what might be in there.

Why would you want to do this even if it was even possible, as in what benefits would you get to improve your hearing?

I wonder…it would be very little in kB, but not like you could use any “extra” for anything anyway.

Again your asking for some really hard to find info, ask the manufacturer to see if they would be will to give this out to you.

Sorry but that’s not quite true, you can update firmware in compass, and I might add through the Widex App.

Yes, quite special infos that Im looking for.
But I had to start…somewhere ?
The manufacturer will not answer these questions.

Uploading my own cosy WAV musics into the device, would just be a 1st step towards experimenting. No need to improve hearing with this step. Hence the question for free space on the device.

Thanks for clearing things up regarding the firmware update, not only be possile for the programming devices, but als the hearing aids themselfs. Interesting, Ill have a look again, as I only had seen the obvious firmware update button on the “start page”, which enlisted the programming devices only.
