I have widex moment 220, for my high frequency hearing loss (3-8khz). I’ve been going back and forth because the sound of car turn signal is still inaudible. Tested my aided hearing with youtube videos of different frequency from 3 to 8 khz and everything is inaudible except 4khz that sounds very faint. I feel like im being ripped off because asking Grok it said my level of hearing should have used the power receiver not the M receiver (i have m2r receiver)… how should i proceed… is it common to not use the aid with highest potential, im not even sure whats their reasoning to give me underpowered hearing aid, im used to my right hearing loss being downplayed (bc my left ear is deaf across the board) but i paid $$$ for this… not sure what to do and if anyone here an audiologist that can guve their 2cents if theres a reasoning behind underpwowered aid
my for right is flat 15/25db up to 2k fluctuating depending on tests then 3k: 75db, 4k: 85db, 7k: 105db, 8k: 55db. I dont expect they address the 7k range since i understand its very steep but i should be able to hear the 3k, 4k, and 8k no?
