Won't pair with Bluetooth

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong. I have no trouble pairing with other Bluetooth devices. I am using an iPhone SE with iOS 26.6.2. It does work as a hearing aid but have difficulty adjusting the volume without access to the app (HearingRemote) Any suggestions?
