On iOS at least, YouTube will always stop playing once it is in the background.
I (do not) appreciate this is so they can try and sell subscriptions, and it’s not only YouTube that denies PiP/background audio.
What is extremely frustrating is this means I can’t listen to the audio of an video and change various settings on my hearing aid app without losing the thing I’m trying to tune!
I went to settings and selected ‘live chat’ but that’s only a setting for “hold for review”.
Does anyone know he to highlight this with them? I’m sure it won’t make a difference but would love a good rant with them
