I wonder if the audiologist inputted the whether they could apply that to the acoustic coupling suggestion. Except that they are relying on the clinician inputting an accurate RECD.

Won’t this prediction be too conservative? For example, in a slightly different matter, because of the power receiver, Phonak Target still suggests me M receiver. I understand that my loss fits to its fitting range, however, my ear canal volume is probably too large to get desired SPL near the eardrum, so I need at least P receiver.
will make a great recommendation for the coupling/dome informed by AI, to deliver a great listening experience and user benefit. There will be cases where the Audiologist will override the receiver recommendation by the software due to, for instance, a large residual ear canal volume.

I have a very strange graph line put in the Target, and IIRC, the software still suggests me an M receiver. I will check that again.

Audeo Infinio CROS
I have had the Audeo Infinio for about 2 weeks now and love them. The battery life is phenominal. I never have less than a 16 hour day and still have about 20% battery after that long.

Did they indicate that was already being used in that recommendation, or is it a future implementation? I also still often find the recommendations a bit short on overhead.
Edit: It would robably develop over time with more data. ![]()

So the information from the manufacturer, saying that the improvement from 12 hours to 16 hours (about 30%), is true.

Yes, thanks to all involved!
But can somebody create a tally of how many questions were asked and how many were actually answered? ![]()
In fairness though, I completely understand that the Phonak people can’t reveal much beyond what’s already public. Maybe the main value of an event like this is that Phonak gets direct feedback from the community.
And I commend them for exposing themselves to unfiltered questions!

Yes, a summarion of questions and answers in doc or pdf would be helpful!
Also footnotes to define all the technical terms!

Any chances you could do an AMA with Oticon/Demant, Starkey, Signia, Widex, guys, but for at least 2 hours, as this 1 hour format isn’t enough.
Perhaps, the invited guests could answer the unanswered questions if they feel generous
, since now they know the forum and the people in here.
Thanks

I wonder if one of our fans of could run it through their favorite AI program?
There is the “Top Replies” at the end of the thread that gives a briefer version.

Thank you all for participating in the AMA earlier, and apologies for the technical issues and too-short duration! I will definitely be looking to invite the other manufacturers to participate in similar activities in the future, and if the Phonak leaders have any further comments, I will post it myself here on their behalf. I’m closing this thread as my intention was to close it after the AMA. Feel free to open another thread on this topic to discuss further, but I’d prefer to keep this one focused on the interaction that took place with the Phonak folks ![]()
