NoahLink Wireless and GN Airlink2

Just start Target, connect the Airlink2 with the USB cable, go Trial and Tools in Target at the bottom of the first page then select Firmware Update then under Fitting Devices, select NoahLink Wireless and upgrade. That is what worked for me.

I’ve also been using a used airlink 2 purchased via ebay for a few weeks now without issue. Seems like a great deal.

Yeah that could be just something that needs to be done on some, I don’t know, at least we know how to resolve it now, cheers

No way, these are your HAs and you can do whatever you like with them, remember the Audiologist works for you, not the other way round, so you get to instruct them what you want done, they can and will always make recommendations but up to you at the end of the day.

Ummmm nope, time to do some research and read the user guides on how to program your HAs, so just remember that it’s 2 seperate clients you make in the software, one to save your original audiology settings and one for your DIY projects, easy as.

Priced dropped to $44.95. I bought it. Hopefully it’ll be updated. If not I’ll figure it out. Might need help. Wish I could find a video of someone actually using smart fit from beginning till the end. Explaining what’s what and what is trying to be accomplished. I might find my answers in some of the help files but so far nothing real helpful. It’ll be easier once I am actuallly in. Sorry to talk so much. Talk to you later. Doug.

But it’s been explained how it’s done, don’t worry, your over thinking everything it’s so easy my granddaughter could do this (or actually show me a better way )it’s a fantastic price and a bargain.

You didn’t get the video or programming guide? If you want them I can send them to you, honestly this is so easy that you’ll have a laugh after doing your first project, and don’t forget you get the simulation/demo mode to play around with SmartFit, this is a good way to see what and how the software works.

You’ll be fine I’m sure, plus there’s plenty of us here on the forum to help you along if needed.

Yeah I wish we could post screenshots. In that video when the guy is on the page making adjustments there’s gray hanging downwards. When he hit gain up over and over the lines went up and when they touched the gray that was feedback. What is the gray? What are the lines? You just take them as high as you can go? On the left he could highlight frequencies. How do you know what needs highlighted? See. Lots of hard questions. Not sure if I am even making sense. I like to make videos of my questions. But we can’t share here.
