Last Sunday, I had my hearing aid specialist at Costco change the setting in her software, which transferred to my hearing aids, to “Intelligent Focus”. Yesterday, a friend and I went to lunch at a reasonably noisy restaurant. I switched the Jabra Pro app from “All-Around” to the “Hear in Noise”, card. When we left the restaurant, I forgot to switch the app back to the “All-Around”.setting. It remained in the noise reduction setting until about 11 o’clock that night, when for the first time since wearing hearing aids, I received the aural warning that the battery in each ear was low. I switched the app back to the “All-Around” setting, and I checked the battery capacity which was at one dot each. Previously, I was wearing the Jabra 20s and in early May switched to the Jabra 30s. In the past I have left the app in the “Hear in Noise” function and never ran the batteries even close to that low of capacity. Anyone have an idea as to what’s going on? In the future, I will remember to switch back to “All-Around”, when leaving the noisy environment.
