Any reviews on Jabra Enhanced Pro 30 with CROS

As title. Ordered the Jabra 30 (custom mold) with a today. Anyone have any reviews with this set up?

Not sure how I will get on with the CROS but the audiologist said I can return it if I don’t feel it is beneficial.

Also not sure how I will get on with the Jabra, the audiologist stated if I don’t get on with the CROS then it’s better to return everything and go with their Phonak Sphere equivalent for left side only.

Apparently will take two weeks to arrive but maybe longer. Hopefully will arrive in time before I go on a two week holiday on the 15th August.

Any thoughts and setting suggestions I can discuss with the audiologist for the initial set up would be greatly appreciated.

Your situation is very confusing. Do you mean a Cros hearing aid intended for single sided hearing loss? It was my understanding that CostCo does not sell Cross hearing aids, and Jabra prescription hearing aids are only available at CostCo. And if you are considering a CostCo Jabra hearing aid, how could you have an audiologist offering you the alternative of Phonak Infinio Sphere, which CostCo doesn’t sell? Please help me understand your situation.

In the US, maybe Canada? It is a limited region and they are sold internationally.

Yes from Costco in UK. Jabra 30 with , which is equivalent to Vivia with CROS.

They have the same as Phonak Infinio Sphere under their Sennheiser brand. They showed me this when I was discusssing both.

The device on the unaidable ear is always called a . But the set up can either be CROS (only transferring sound from an unaidable ear to an ear with nornal hearing, therefore no amplification required), or Bi-CROS (the better ear has hearing loss and requires amplification as well as receiving signal from the dead ear). So the CROS is the device name, where as CROS/ refers to the entire set-up.

That would be called an Amp-. It’s essentially 2 standard hearing aids where the poor ear transmits sound to the better ear whilst still providing some amplification to the poor side. Not all manufacturers are capable of it, and not many Auds are familiar with it. Phonak, Unitron, Signia and possibly the latest Starkey Edge are all capable.
