I have several questions regarding the Sphere Infinio with Up Receiver I hope someone has answers to.
When did the Audeo Sphere Infinio with Up first come out (date wise)?
In my opinion a true Power Up aid should come with optional customs molds. So am I correct that the can be placed in custom molds?
For power aids why does Phonak keep going back and forth putting receiver in aid body, then change to receiver in mold. The Paradise and Lumity aids have receiver in body of hearing aid casing. Now the Audeo Sphere Infinio Up has receiver in canal. Why the ping-pong game back and forth?
I’m also in the camp that a true UP ideally would work with a 675 battery. I know that’s not available right now but does anyone have a guess when Phonak might roll out the Sphere Infinio Up that will work with a disposable battery?
I have to admit for those with a severe to profound hearing loss the Sphere Infinio fitting chart is impressive. Question is how well word recognition works with these aids addressing bottom of fitting chart levels?
Lastly I always get confused by Audeo verses Naida aids. My assumtion is Phonakl Naida aids are more in line with someone with a severe to profound hearing loss. So in the ‘Big Picture’ are those now waiting for a new power aid from Phonak, hoping for a new Naida Sphere Infinio with Up Receiver to come out?
If that’s the case then I think the only walnut Phonak needs to crack is how to provide a Naida Sphere Infinio with Up Receiver with 675 battery or enough power to function say for a week, if using back ground noise setting.
