Other than Costco…. Where else can I purchase tulip and (medium) size power domes? I bought a used set of 9050s as a backup set, search the web for the domes and and so far no luck. Obviously, Costco won’t sell them to me, and I don’t blame them. There has to be another source for these domes for my 9050s.

After searching online, I was able to find that, while the Philips 9050 use miniFit Detect speakers, these speakers use the same Oticon Prowax MiniFit . I saw online findings that indicate Amazon, eBay, and multiple HA-related accessory merchants sell those filters.

I bought tulip domes on Amazon that are not Phonak but fit my receivers very securely. As long as you shop for Oticon minifit-compatible domes, you should be able to find a fit.

I would think that Oticon would be an exact replacement for the domes. It wouldn’t surprise me to find that are also an exact replacement.

Oticon/Demant/Phillips don’t have tulips as far as I know . You can try the Signias tulips but I have no clue about how they fit . Based on my experience , the Oticon OpenBass has a similar “behavior “ compared to the Tulips .

All Oticons domes should fit the Phillips . I think (not 100% sure ) the receivers are identical in size

Both are miniFit, but the Philips 9050 are “miniFit Detect” - because they store some electronic info. Per the Q&A sheet I found online, “The new miniFit Detect system is an innovative new “smart” receiver system. It features a new 8-pin connector and has an embedded memory. This memory identifies serial number, fitting level, length, and side (right/left) - all of which can be detected by HearSuite.”

Thanks everyone, I’ll keep looking and try to narrow down the search to Oticon MiniFit Detect speakers. I’ll update this post when I find a match.

From what I was able to find, the “Detect” aspect of the speaker matters only from the fact it has a memory and an 8-contact connector. I think the speaker size should be the same.

Edited to verify - they both take Oticon miniFit domes.
