Hoping someone can help.
I’ve read most of the Untangling post and I’m no clearer.
I got given 2 nova heating aids by the NHS during COVID after they lost my previous hearing aids (with connected audio shoes and cube things (which I think were Roger X’s). I’ve no idea which model of there are different ones, but I certainly do not have a multi-function button, only volume buttons.
At that time I was told my roger select would no longer be compatible and that I now required the roger on/in (not sure what it’s called), which I then got.
Last year when I was getting routine maintenance done at the audiology department they switched my left hearing aid for a new one. They told me they’d transferred everything over from the old one. Several days later I went to use my roger equipment to find my left hearing aid no longer connected.
Question:
-
is it likely they didn’t transfer the licence/programme/whatever over or are they no longer talking to each other? Or is there likely to be some other problem?
-
is my roger select definitely no longer compatible? If it is compatible how do I get the licence/programme/whatever to connect?
-
if (2) is possible then can I connect the select and the on/in the both my hearing aids? Or could I connect just the select to one and the on/in to the other?
-
Also, can someone please explain what people are talking about with the roger 02 or roger 03? What’s that about?
I’m really confused…
Thanks
