Phonak Lumity 90 Target detection problem

Hello,

I have been able to successfully program my Phonak L90 hearing aids in the past using Phonak Target, but recently I have been unable to complete the process. Here are the steps and the issue I encounter:

  1. Start Target, select my profile, and press Connect.
  2. Noahlink detects both hearing aids.
  3. I select both devices.
  4. On the next screen, I hear the confirmation tone, and both aids are muted as expected.
  5. The software displays “Detected device” for the Right hearing aid.
  6. For the Left hearing aid, however, I receive a Detection Problem message: “The communication with the hearing aid failed. Please turn off Bluetooth on your phone and disconnect the aids from the app.”

I have already followed the suggested steps (turning off Bluetooth, disconnecting from the app, etc.), but the issue persists. As a result, I’m unable to program the devices.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Are they disposal battery, fit new battery, rechargeable turn off and restart, click retry or just start again, but you only get a couple of minutes or so to make the connection otherwise it’ll time out, make sure your not connected to any other bluetooth devices, not just phone, but must be something simple because you say you’ve not had a problem connecting them recently.

The times I’ve had this happened was because there was a device connected (not just the phone). . Have you connected your to other devices besides your phone? If not, you can try a reset by pressing the volume down button for 15 sec (HAs will turn off and after a bit, on again)

check the USB-cable between noahlink and PC,
Use the USB cable delivered with the noahlink.
Other USB cables may not work as expected.

Remove all other connected USB-devices on the PC , like USB connected / HDD , memory sticks, wifi sticks.

Connect noahlink wireless device to a direct USB port of the PC , not to a USBHub

It is rechargeable, I tried immediately after starting them (removing them from the charger case). They are not connected to any other device.
Do you know how to clear all bluetooth pairings from the ? I can try that to ensure that there are no connections.

I tried all suggestions but no luck.

It sounds like you have tried almost everything. When that happens to me I just turn bluetooth on the phone (and my iPad) off completely, but it sounds like you have already done that. Have you tried selecting the “disconnect” button under connection management in the app? You might try just connecting the left aid alone to see if that will trigger a response or try setting up a new profile.

Yes I was able to fix it. I had to move my computer to another room and keep the close to the NoahLink. This worked. Perhaps there was too much interference where I was first. Try that and see if that helps.

You could try doing a remote session and resetting the Bluetooth stack in Target

EDIT: I confirmed that this isn’t possible through a remote session.
