There’s this new trending products on my left of my screen on this forum now.
It’s taking up more then half of my page and makes using the forum hard.
There is no way to close the trending products.
I’m using an iPad and iPhone.

Well here we go again, another update to the website to make things…umm a bit more unusable, I’m wondering if anyone is having another issue as me, when replying to a post I can no longer read the message when replying? Was good to be able to check what was posted while doing this, now I have to try and remember.. this is on Android phone using Chrome browser, it’s a beta version I’m hoping?

Sorry about that, fixed it. It was working in our local testing, but something went awry when put into production. Now it only shows on large screens, as intended. Thanks for reporting!

It looks like this is the direction that Discourse went … It’s not a custom change that we made. I will mention to the Discourse devs that we would like an option to make the text entry half screen height. In the meantime you can minimize the reply box using these down arrows.

One of the best things about this new upgrade is that you no longer need to manage your posts in markdown with the side by side preview. That is still an option though if you want to go back to the old way. Just click the “M” in the post editor:

Another thing I noticed is some are cut in half.
The button still works but it just looks weird.
Just letting you know.

I removed Trending products with uBlock Origin on my PC. It’s the div.left-sidebar that should be removed.

We’ll be developing the sidebar more and more to surface insights and trends from the forum, so you’ll be missing out.

Yes I noticed I could do that, but fantastic if you can sort even some of the text to be seen, cheers
So another thing I just noticed, I can’t add your quote to the top of my reply, will only load here at the bottom.

Unrelate question. Why do I need wifi to see the forum. Other parts of the Hearing Tracker site are available via cell but not the forum (using T-Mobile)

This a change since the update? Or been that way a while for you? Works for me but I haven’t tried cellular since the update. But I also have t-mo.
I also primarily use the discourse app.

Not sure I understand the t-mobile problem… I don’t have t-mobile anymore, but when I did, I had no issue accessing the forum from my phone over 4/5g

I checked tonight while we were out to dinner. No issues here. Dunno? Phone settings?

There’s a post further down the list about a forum member who all her/his posts are blank. We can’t write on her post as it’s all blank.
Can you scroll down and find the post and figure out the forum members issue please?
@PJB12 is the forum member.
My Previous & New Posts Are Suddenly Blank. Have i Been Fired? (unavailable)Hi, My posts from the past and the new one today are suddenly blank. I tried three browsers with the same results. On the chance that this post shows up not blank, what did I do wrong? Thanks, Paul
