Ambio S 98 loud feedback

Hi everyone :slightly_smiling_face: ,

I’m having an issue with my emitting loud feedback when they’re not in my ears. Ever since I paired them to the Danalogic software and it did the calibration part, the volume has gone to maximum. I didn’t apply any changes to my HAs and are normal when I wear them.

Please can someone guide me to where I’m going wrong as I’m still learning how to use the software.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

No, I can’t wear my right one since the visit last Tuesday the audiologist managed to split my mould by forcing a thick piece of tubing in it, so had to go back the following day to have a new one made which should arrive next week!

So do I need to do the calibration again when I can wear both?

Yes calibration needs to be done when in each ear.

Reason why it’s feedbacking when out of the ears is because the feedback block would be really low as they weren’t in the ears at the time of the calibration.

Also I forgot to ask, is the shown from the actual or is that a preset within the software? Reason I’m asking is because the volume and surround noises were much different until I came out of the fitting software and my HAs reset themselves.

If you didn’t enter it manually or change it then the audogram value is what was last programmed from your Audiologist, you should make two separate clients for doing , one to save your original audiology settings and one for your projects.

That’s what I’ve done, created two profiles, one has the original setup and the other is a test one.
