Oticon Intent hiss / floor noise

I have this issue with my phillips 9040’s. I was able to ‘fix’ it with a simple tweek, in the general program, change the pinna mode slider from pinna to omni-directional and the white noise will go away. Hope this helps.

Thanks! My audiologist made some adjustments and now I barely notice it.

Six weeks with my 9050s and nothing could get rid of the hiss. Every adjustment in the tool kit failed. Even went to a different HIS, as the first one didn’t seem either interested or competent. So the second one had me demo the new Sonite Rise and…no hiss whatsoever. I get them in 3 weeks.
