UK Specsavers for NHS hearing aids the Signia Stretta Aya M

Hi everyone, I have UK Specsavers for NHS hearing aids the Signia Stretta Aya M. The audiologists at Specsavers programmed them so badly that I get tinnitus on both ears as soon as I wear them for a few hours and they reduced the frequencies that I hear. I programmed them with Signia Connexx Software 9.13 and Noahlink Wireless but when I test the results it seems that they stay the same as the audiologists programmed them. I looked in User Preference, Workflow, Password Protection and there is no protection but the behaviour of the hearing aids is as if there is a protection. Does anybody knows how to unlock them? Thank you in advance.

Specsavers are locked i believe, you wouldn’t be able to connect and program them, you’d get a pop up asking to enter the code, have you got screenshots of you connected to Connexx?

Ok so you got these from Specsavers? Or from NHS because Specsavers lock with a code but obviously NHS don’t.

So what kind of adjustments are you making? As you can see that they are being synchronised (saved) so that means any additional adjustments are being stored in the on the fly, you can just disconnect Noahlink wireless at this time or just click on Home.

What about making a new client and a complete new fitting, do you not notice anything different when you do this?

My NHS GP wrote a referral to Specsavers. The Audiologist at Specsavers did the and 2 weeks later they gave me the hearing aid without paying because of the referral. I programmed the hearing head now with a 0 flat line, left and right a 0 line. The hearing aids should have 0 gain but when I test it with an audiometry app the result is the same as the one done by the audiologist. I already had 2 audiologist and the programming is the same or worse. I think that with this flat line the result should be my audiogram and not the audiologist’s programming.

This is the audiogram after flat line programming done by me with the connexx software. This should be the same as my audiogram but it is the same as the Specsavers’s audiologist programming. Today I saved the data with save. I also opened Service and I successfully programmed Right and Left Hearing Aid. It looks like as if the hearing aids are locked.

User preferences on the left it looks like as if there is not a password protection.

Sorry but I can’t make sense of what your actually doing, your first screenshot show’s that your in “simulation mode” and not actually connected to your ?

Where are all these other audograms coming from, some online test? as how are you getting doing the test to get them, it’s weird?

But look as i said before, make a new client up and start a completely new fitting in Connexx, enter your audogram manually, make sure your connected with your Noahlink wireless and not in simulation, do not copy anything from the HAs, start a new “session” and let’s see what’s going on.

Hi there @RuneSky great your giving a go,but these are most likely locked with a pin code or similar, but you can at least try, should be interesting to see.
