May I ask your help and assistence? I would like to pair my new Allure hearing aids as audio device at my new HP laptop. My laptop recognises the devices but not as audio devices.
Does your laptop support ? Allure is designed to be LE Audio ready, but we have not tested it. LE Audio would be the way to connect to PCs i.e. as opposed to Apple devices.
We’ve been waiting for such a beast for a while.

I emailed them asking for information and they replied. I’ll copy it verbatim. I don’t think there’s anything there that they want to keep private. My take is that Auracast is working assuming you have a phone that supports it (which is probably Samsung) but point-to-point LE Audio is a work in progress for hear…
Thank you! I do have this dongle and I am going to try….
The Dutch representative of Widex in the Netherlands declared this afternoon that -connection with laptop is not possible….I am not really sure if this is correct.
I would recomend contacting @Ranson .
The issue has been reported before. Widex has a Bluetooth Customer Support that should be able to help if your computer has .

Per other users’ experiences, a dongle would be the way to go for connecting a laptop to a hearing aid for . However, it seems that there are some internal settings/variables with certain dongles that might need to be addressed. I would loop in customer support for the dongle to make sure you are using it correctly.
Here’s a reply from Widex UK Tech Support (late August), copied from an email a customer shared with us.
It suggests that compatibility may be possible after a future firmware update.

*Currently, the Allure platform is only compatible with the RC-Dex (Remote Control) and the TV-Play 2, the TV-Play 2 can however be used with your laptop, if you were to choose this option then it would just require you to also purchase a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable.
Also, Allure hearing aids are / ready which will be activated with a future firmware update, this could then provide more compatible streaming solutions*
And I thought the Allure had LEA enabled. Well, that’s the answer the OP was looking for.
One bad thing about the Allure is that many of the Moments accessories are not compatible. Widex Sound Connect, which is the USB device that allows Widex Moments to connect to PCs , is not compatible with the Allures. Truly sucks
Widex Allure 440 will not pair to a pc I tried the FMA120 and it didn’t work and I reached out to Widex and they told me there is no known dongle that will work. When looking into it more the code is encrypted.
OP has the Allures , not the Moments.
The Moment’s COM-DEX accessories are not
compatible with the Allure.
The Allure accessories are (1) TV Play 2 (2) Remote Control
I thought it was worth mentioning as the Widex customs don’t have bluetooth & didn’t expect it to stream to the laptop with the Moments but it did. My comdex has streamed to other relatives hearing aids that have been different Widex models. It’s a shame the other devices aren’t compatible with the allure.
