Thanks for your kind and valuable advise from the real life experience. I am seriously thinking about SpecSavers but again it depends on anyone’s luck to have a good Audio or the other way if I am unlucky but, as you have advised there seems to be a work around possible . Thanks again
Depending on your age (on a Government pension of any type) or on a recognized low income, if you are on a pension you are eligible for free aids from Hearing Australia. If you’re in a rural area you might have to travel. Good luck.
Hi Thanks, unfortunately I will not be eligible for Healthcare Card or perhaps NDIS also. Finally I decided to go for a COSTCO .
I had an initial discussion and another hearing test at COSTCO Marsden, I like the Audiologists. She did not like Jabra & couldn’t tell me where the Senheiser is assembled but Phillips in Poland and Rexton in Singapore. She preferred Phillips but it seems to me a bit bulky in comparison to Rexton. I have seen some US Reviews in YOUTube and decided to get a Rexton as its might also control the hearing modulation according to the environments. She said only thing I will miss is Phillips capability to pairing with iPhone to hear through the HA, but I believe I have to use the phone to talk to, hence perhaps it will not make much difference to Rexton.
Please share your thoughts about these two Costco brands.
@kintiq, I wouldn’t over-research it if I were you as what works well for one person may not work well for you (and vice versa). Just give the trial at least 10 days+ and allow one revisit for a adjustments. Trial another if it’s not working. You can be led astray if you rely too much on online reviews or opinions. Most comfortable I have (from Specsavers) ended up being a brand you barely hear mentioned on this forum (or elsewhere). Trialing is the most important thing.
