Widex Ric to Allure- Bluetooth help

Hi there

Life-long user of hearing aids. yay.

Anyway, I went from Ric to Allure today. I loved Ric’s bluetooth streaming, especially with the music once I dialed in the settings for the most optimal sound quality. I had it saved on my original Widex app, and when I play music, I simply hit my preset button that I’ve created.

I don’t see that option on the new Allure app.

I can adjust music to where I am happy enough with. But I don’t see a way to save it. I don’t see ANY options (universal, music) when phone is streaming through bluetooth. When I went back to the music later on, it reset to the subpar standard settings, and I do not want to adjust settings every single time I want to listen to music.

Same goes with phone calls. I had to adjust volumes and sound settings for phone calls to be able to hear the other person on the line. It resets after each call.

Any help? I can’t see Widex going backwards with these control settings

When you say Ric, do you mean SmartRIC?
So you don’t see the blue save button like the one that appears on the SmartRIC?

Hi! Yes I mean SmartRic.

The allure app is completely different and it doesn’t give me options of presets when it’s connected/activated with Bluetooth.

There’s nothing there. I did save preset. It’s there. But being able to select it while playing music or on phone is not an option. Does that make sense?Just sound adjustment. I don’t want to adjust sound every time I use phone or music. There’s gotta be a way for me to press the preset button that doesn’t exist

But it did not solve my issue. I did call my audiologist and she was stumped.

I hate it when they change/take away a good thing lol. Maybe with an app update on the future they will add/correct it.
