Genie 2 2025.1 fitting link 3, DIY

Hi,

I used to have OPN 1 and used Genie 2 2019.1 and fitting link 3 to .

I have my intent trial this week and want to upgrade.

I updated my genie 2 to 2025.1, I did see a info box, only noah link wireless from this point on.

After opening genie 2 2025.1, under setting, programm devices I don’t see my fitting link.

I can’t even connect my OPN anymore. If there was a firmware update along the way, I skipped it. Simply updated from 2019.1 to 2025.1 without checking for fitting link firmware updates along the way.

Now the fitting link 3 can’t be seen, nothing is there.

Can somebody please confirm I need to buy a noah link wireless 2?

because chats tell me fitting link 3 should still work, I don’t see how.

Get the Noahlink wireless programming device, it’s pretty good you can use it on any brand now as it’s the industry standard for programming.

is it safe to purchase form ebay? It’s a china seller.

edit: I snatched one for 140€ in the netherlands, living in germany.

So let’s see how that goes with noahlink then.

Sure the eBay or AliExpress are okay no problem, as you’ve ordered from Europe I’m sure it’ll be fine, cheers
