Just upgraded my Philips 9050 to 1.3.0 and because of recommendations here, I tried them out with the Homespot ba210 on my tv and they work perfectly (remember to turn off Dolby). TV is now a pleasure. Many thanks to all who make this website so useful!

Stopped by the dept at Costco today - they were able to do the update

So ,do you have the latest version of the app, as well? When you are in the Sound screen, tap the 3 dots to the right and you’ll see the icon.

When I tap the 3 dots I don’t see ico, safe to assume Costco never activated it? I where would I verify the version? Thanks for help.

Nancy, in the HearLink app tap on the hearing aids icon, and tap hearing aid updates. There it will show your current version.If they aren’t 1.3.0, or 1.3.1 there won’t be an option, and you’ll need to go back to Costco, and buy a bunch of stuff while you’re there!

I was at Costco on Thursday. Don’t know what the bill was, didn’t want to know. I DO know there was over $200 just in baby formula for the granddaughter.

You need to go on your phone and update the Philips app by going to the Play Store and updating the app. Then the will appear as an option under “sound” then press the 3 dots and you will see more options, which includes Auracast.

I got the Homespot and the audio gets a bit fuzzy after I watch TV for a while. So I asked the company for help and they sent me another device, but they both have this issue. The only thing I can do is turn it off and on, but that usually only works for a short while. I did not turn off Dolby. I will try that. Also, it can have a bit of delay between my aids and the audio via the soundbar so that makes it very difficult to use. I wish the Homespot was working perfectly, but it is very frustrating.
