New to ’s and trying out the Starkey Omega 24 . Are there any model Android phones that would allow you to answer calls by pressing a button on the HA itself? I can talk hands free but have to answer the call on my phone first. Otherwise I do like them compared to the Signia Charge & Go I tried out which did allow me to answer calls on the HA.

I also have the Starkey Omega’s, paired with a Samsung S24 FE. I can answer a call by pressing the button on the hearing aid. Look in the Starkey app in My Hearing > My Settings. “Accept/end/decline call” needs to be turned on.

Mike I just learned a ton from your response. I realize that the Kyocera phone I have doesn’t have the option in My Settings. I checked a friends Samsung S25 and he does have the option. Looks like I need to upgrade to a newer Samsung to solve my issue. Thanks!

Check the Starkey website they have a phone compatibility list for Android and iPhone. Seen a few people on the forum say Samsung 24/25 and Google Pixel 9 have been good phone to pair with Starkey Omega. KYOCERA is not on there list even for older model Starkey models.

Starkey says the greatest functionality is available only with Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25, Google 7, 7a, 8, 8a, 9, and 9a Families. Pixel 10s aren’t yet certified, which shocks me. OneTouch, Huawei, Moto have support.

Google says the 7, 7a, 8a and 9a do not fully support , so I’d test before committing to one of those models.

I am due to be fitted tomorrow with Starkey Omega 24 (Phonak Audéo Sphere simply messed up my iphone and all functions). I have all Apple Devices, watch etc etc. Has anyone experienced compatibility problems between the Starkey and Apple? Would like to be prewarned before I visit the audiologist. Very many thanks for advice.

iphone 13 pro max (unless I can purloin DH’s iphone 17!!!.

Thank you for your advice.

I now have an S25+ and very disappointed at the connectivity. The microphone just doesn’t pick up my voice when on calls. I’ve tried adjusting them through the My Starkey app but it just amplifies the background noise and no difference picking up my voice.

Do you see “Accept/end/decline call” in the Starkey app?

In the latest firmware release 10.3.1, the microphone is now enabled for the assistant. I haven’t found anything online that directly confirms making a call, as with a headset.

@MikeRelaxer: If the app allows turning the microphone on and off, as you mentioned, could you confirm this?

If not, how could we get closer to Starkey to clarify this?
