I wonder whether you are using Aventa correctly. It can’t just find and connect like SmartFit. What you have to do is identify the “instruments” from a list, then highlight the correct one for left and right, then tell it to connect.

David Tried all this. When I select insruments the tech info indicates cable and clips. Possibly why it does not connect to Noahlink. tHE ls 961 drw i assumed would be a Noahlink connection but I am following all instructons but fail to connect. Could it be I need cable and lips which would be a totally different scenario The aids are working as I can hear noise and new batteries Is there a way I can find out ?

Hold on, you haven’t already chosen the Noahlink wireless as the default device

Ok I have just looked again. Once you are in Aventa, tap on the Select Instrument button on the right hand side of the screen. Then you select the instrument you want, LS961 DRW. Do it for each ear. Then click OK. It does mention that you need wires, but ignore that, it’s well out of date.

Now look at the top of screen where there is a button to allow you to choose how you connect and you say NoahLink Wireless and next to it is a button Connect. Tap that. Then turn on the aids. You will see them appear on the screen. You tap on both to accept them and then press Continue in the bottom right corner of the screen. And take it from there.

David connected to Aventa picked aids. Open and close battery (new batteries) checked Noahlink and tried to connect again open and close battery tabs. Noahlink starts to flash green on and off. And no connection. I must be doing something wrong but I just cannot figure out what the aids pick up on the Iphone app and connect so I know Bluetooth is working and I can adjust but not programmed so low sound an ddistorted but the aids are working but useless unless I can use my . No idea why they do not connect. Noahlink firmware up to date as are drivers. i did update to Aventa 3 .30 and Surefit 2.2.

Only other thing I can think of is that you must turn Bluetooth off on your phone (or put it out of range) because Aventa won’t find the LINX 2 if they are currently connected to a smartphone. But I guess you know this?

But I don’t see your audogram, you need to make a client up, these I mentioned to you before, start a complete new fitting from scratch.

Dave he mentioned he had everything turned off Bluetooth wise, hopefully he hasn’t overlooked this

You can use in situ fitting actually, so you don’t have to enter an at the first stage before the aids will connect. After all, consider that a patient has showed up in a clinic and wants a simple tweak to settings. The audiologist will just want to connect to the aids and tell Aventa to use the instrument data. This is what I did when I mistakenly connected to my LINX 1 earlier this afternoon.

Yeah but just for the sake of trying to figure out what’s happening, but still it’s weird he can’t connect if he’s following the instructions, gotta be something being overlooked.

It is odd. I never used Aventa before today and it took me about 5 mins to get connected with the instrument data from the moment I started SmartFit up.

I have tried everything to connect LS961 aids to Noahlink but no luck so far. Everything looks fine Noahlink works perfectly. Aids connect via to my mobile on app so I know this works. Followed all instructions and at a loss. Good aids and weee not cheap new receivers purchased but I guess they cannot be used.

@Bwp2601 - Did you find a solution to make it work?

I’ve experienced exactly the same issue while trying to fine tune LS761-DRW and I am also not able to connect. I was thinking that the problem would be either Win 11 or Noahlink Wireless 2 (and not V1). The reason I think that it can be the V2 issue is that I found similar posts in the forum and on the clinic they used a Noahlink Wireless (v1) without any issue.

Resound LS961 and Noahlink
Just received the Noahlink wireless 2 and successfully connected an ambio 88 and a set of rechargable resound aids. However I just cannot connect a set of resound la961 aids. New batteries I know the Noahlink is working and I am using the Aventa software that is included in Resound Smart fit. Noahlink will just not pickup these aids. No BT anywhere else mobile switches off. New firmware and Noahlink is working on two other sets. Tries everything I can and hours spent trying to connect without su…

No nothing to do with this, I have both and have no problem using on linx2 and Quattro models, it’s a PC issue most likely win11 and or Noahlink wireless driver.

@tenkan - You are probably right. After investigating a bit more, I think that the issue might be that the is rebranded by Amplifon, so according to multiple comments in the forum, it looks like those versions of HA are usually locked to Amplifon fitting software version.
