NHS Discontinued my fave brand

I was more than pleased with NHS Danalogic Ambrio S 77, especially with streaming music,which gave a warm bassy sound. I had them for 5 years until they died.
This year NHS told me that they stopped providing Danalogic aids,and I had to have Signia Stretta instead. I hated them,so they rummaged in their cupboards and found me some refurbished Danalogic Actio. The Actio is okay, if I want that bassy sound when streaming music, I have to put my left aid (my worst ear) into my right ear mould, and switch them back the correct way round when I have to speak to humans!
Now the batterys only stay recharged for 6 hours, so I’ll have to get a new brand.
I believe they are supplying phonak these days (Herefordshire). Are phonaks any good for streaming music?

I was prescribed the Ambio S 77 last week here in North Somerset. This was by an NHS appointment with West England Audiology. I also have Phonak aids and streaming music is broadly similar. But with Danalogic and Phonak I have upped the bass and flattened the treble.

That’s a relief! Thanks for that. I too up the bass and flattern the treble, just that the Actio didn’t provide enough bass. What phonaks did you have?

I first had NHS Phonak Nathos Novas but now I have the latest Infinio Spheres. I use the Ambios as backup although they are almost as good as the Spheres. I bought the Spheres because I was dissatisfied with the Novas. They were OK for streaming but I was finding hearing difficult in social situations. The Spheres are much better for that.
