Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 bluethooth issues with Danalogic Ambio S 88H hearing aids

Hi all,

I am at a loss here and would like advice and feedback.

I have a left and right Danalogic Ambio 88H hearing aids. They were provided to me from the HSE (goverment scheme) in Dublin, Ireland. These were provided in March 2026.

While I want to say they have been useful, in some ways yes. However bluetooth connection to my phone is shocking.

I use a Resound Phone Clip for my work laptop and TV, which works absolute wonders. Regarding my phone, there are constant droputs and disconnections.

I was woundering if it is worth seeking further regarding the hearing aids or looking further on my phone?

I am also using the BeMore hearing app as advised by the audiologis.

I have been trialling the Specsaver Advance Elite 73 hearing aids which are actually the Unitron Moxi SRX9 aids (When Phonak brought out the EON then from 26th July they produced the Phonak Infinio Sphere Ultra under the Unitron Moxi SRX9 label).

I have the Samsung Galaxy S25 and have the Unitron 'Hearing Remote' App on the phone. I was getting a lot of problems with Bluetooth dropouts and also disconnections between the aids. The left aid has the Bluetooth connection to the phone.

Samsung has very aggressive battery saving features and I did three things which has seemingly cured my Bluetooth problems it could possibly help you.

Go into Settings > Apps > Bemore App and 1) Ensure that 'Manage App if Unused' is turned 'OFF' . 2) Click on 'Battery' and ensure that 'Unrestricted' is selected.

3) This may not apply to the GN aids but Phonak/Unitron have the capability of 'Hands Free Calls' which can use 'Adaptive Bluetooth'. The Unitron manual for the 'Hearing Remote' App suggests turning off 'Adaptive Bluetooth' if there are stability problems with Bluetooth. I turned it off. Since doing those three changes I have not had further problems with Bluetooth.
