Welcome to the forum.
I can’t give you a personal answer as I’ve never used Welding equipment. I copied this from
Google- Using electric welding equipment with a cochlear implant is possible, but it requires significant safety precautions to avoid potential damage to the device or injury to yourself. The strong electromagnetic fields and potential for electric current from welding can interfere with or damage the internal electronics of the implant.
Reading what Google says is take your processor off while welding.
I hope I’ve interpreted your question correctly. Good luck.

I have welded with both processors on and had zero issues other than the hood tried to knock them off. I am bilateral with K2 off the ear processors.

Yes, electric wire feed. Also do gas welding repairs on refrigeration equipment. Fixing things here at the house.
I really haven’t found anything that has limited my activities.

I am not a cochlear person, just Hearing aids …. I have never thought of taking my aids off for Mig or stick welding … I do remove my glasses to prevent the sparks from pitting the lenses.
