I have the KS10 and have had to buy 4 new receivers in 4 years, despite taking care to remover them carefully. I am going to try the Sennheisers but have just received a message from Costco saying that I cant have the same custom mold and have to have a cShell with the receiver embedded. This means that if it breaks, I can’t change it myself and have to send it to the factory. Something which I would want to avoid. I am thinking it might be the same quite unreliable receiver. Does anyone know? TIA
Originally the KS10 had the 4.0 receivers. Those are updated to the 5.0 now. Those should be better. I had a 4.0 go bad on my KS10. I got the new 5.0 (with the cShell) and used it for a few months on my KS10, then wore them a year on my Lumity’s. Never had a problem, they are still my spare’s.

Are you saying that Costco believes you need UP receivers?
If Costco is using Phonak molds they now put all size of receivers built into C shells. However if you just use a regular receiver a mold made by Westone (or anybody else besides Phonak) will work.
It depends on which receiver you have and which Sennheiser you are referring to.
The Phonak Paradise (KS10) was released with the 4.0 receivers. Later on, Phonak updated those receivers to version 5.0. I don’t know if you have the 4.0 or 5.0. The 4.0 uses the problematic Cerushield (disc) vs the 5.0 uses the Cerustop (sticks) . Both are compatible with the Sennheiser Sonite R since this device is a brother of the Phonak Lumity. Costco uses the 5.0 receivers with the Sennheisers Sonite R.
A new Sennheiser (Sennheiser Rise) was recently announced. This new Sennheiser is a brother (most likely) of the Phonak Infinio (non-Sphere). If they are indeed the Infinios, then they use the 6.0 receivers and these are not compatible with the KS10/Lumity/Paradise
If the question is - Can you use the KS10 receivers with your molds on the Sennheiser Sonite R: You should be able to but the fitter may not want to put old receivers on new aids.
But if Costco is selling you the new Sennheiser Sonite Rise (unlikely): This one cannot use the 4.0 or 5.0 receiver.
I would not buy a Sennheiser Sonite R right now knowing that the Sennheiser Sonite Rise is around the corner (there is another thread about this in the forum)
I just posted about the Sennheiser new Rise aids and receivers then found this. got the R yesterday to try. app says no receivers installed. I thought “receivers” were the same as “licenses” in order to use the Phonak accessories. Now I’m thinking they are something else. What am I missing.
This post was about whether the Sonite used the same receivers as the Paradise. The receivers are the metal pieces that fit inside your ear. You’re mixing these up with the Phonak Roger devices.
You posted the same question in another thread , I’ll reply in that one.
To be honest they are both (confusingly) called receivers. Context shows the thread is about the physical speaker receivers, not the logical Roger receivers. None of the Roger receivers will be included on sennheiser , but they can be transferred in.
