My phillips 9050 pairs successfully with my bedroom tv (no surround sound). My living room tv has a bluetooth surround sound system. It won’t allow me to pair my hearing aids using the Phillips tv adapter. Any suggestions appreciated. It will let me pair if speakers aren’t on.

When running two audios on the TV things can go smoothly or challenging.
We will need more information but I would try the output settings to see if you can run more than one output. I’m guessing you have the streaming connected directly to the TV since it will work without the Bluetooth on.
Try outputs and check tv manual. has helped me a few times but not always right.

We resolved it. Had to go deep into the samsung tv administrative menu: the optical audio connector and checked the box to have it always on…it worked
