Hi
I just bought a HI-PRO2 USB when I go to Hi-pro App it connects it to my computer but after self-test it ask to update the firmware when I click on update give me an error message. Please advise what to do?? For your information I tried & changed the Com but did not change anything!!

Hi there, so you can’t use the HiPro, As in you don’t need to actually update the firmware to be able to use the HiPro right? What version of windows are you using, but usually once the self test is confirmed then just continue on to program your .

It’s interesting that you have an USB device, but the software detects it as a serial port (COM3). (COM3).

Yeah I’m pretty sure com port test is there even with USB, device manager can check, but the question remains can it still be used with the current firmware, I think it should, but with win11 it might also need updated driver.
