Can you please give us some more information?
Which ReSound hearing aids do you have? Which television?
And how are you trying to connect - , or Bluetooth?
My hunch is you have Bluetooth and a notification arriving on your phone is causing the drop-out

Visio V655-G9
To be sure I understand: You have a Visio V655-G9 connected to a TV Streamer 2 via optical cable, and you’ve paired your ReSound Omnias to the TV Streamer 2, and you’re controlling your via ReSound’s app (version 1.43.1). Is that correct? If not, what connections and settings are you using?
Did you buy used or new equipment? Did it ever work as expected?
In your TV settings, what options do you have for audio output? What option have you selected?
Have you switched cables? If not, can you borrow a known good cable and plug it in temporarily?
Right now, it looks like maybe the TV is sending the signal to the Streamer as it should, or the streamer isn’t processing it as it should, or the cable and/or connectors are bad. IOW, the problem could be anywhere.

All new equipment, was working for several months/years. AND, last nite’s IOS update put everything back in place. Thanks for your input. All seems great not.

Actually, the streamer is paired directly with the , so if your audi had a reasonable skepticism about software, you may be able to connect to the streamer by holding one of the buttons on the HA for 3 (I think it’s 3 - enough to change a program) seconds.
I had to ask my audi to setup program switching via the buttons, so the buttons may not work for you. Holding down the button on my left HA does the trick.
I’ll assume you have the Resound app installed. If you’ve had no luck keeping the streamer connected using the Resound app, try the using the MFI version or vice versa. And there’s always the uninstall/reinstall trick for the Resound app.
I’m an old IT guy. I know that post hoc, propter hoc isn’t always fallacious - the problem occurred after an IOS update? Then the update caused the problem. Does apple have an easy process for backing off an update? Probably not - they know better than commoners….
Sorry about the problem; it would really hurt my days if it happened to me, which is why I’m responding). Getting some time with your audi may be the quickest way to solve it.
