Update: I didn’t want to leave you all hanging.![]()
I have been wearing my new Jabra Enhance Max for seven days now and they are great!
I have been wearing hearing aids for the past 58 years and the Jabra aids are the first set I am able to hear the TV in stereo from 11 feet (3.35 meters) away! Riding in a truck and being able to have a conversation with a passenger without asking for a repeat is nice.
I wear the aids with acrylic skeleton molds. The ear hooks on the aids are titanium according to the Costco . I had the HIS turn on remote fitting as suggested here, and she did. I have a virtual appointment in another week. With the aids I received the standard items as shipped from the factory which are the charger, one pack of microphone filters, cleaning brush, cleaning cloth and a small pouch to place aids in while getting a hair cut I suppose.
Continuing on… I replaced my Moto cell phone with a Samsung S25 Plus which has and works great with my aids. Then, I purchased a BA210 v2 Bluetooth Transmitter and hooked it up to my TV using the fiber optic cable which works extremely well. I’ll probably purchase one for my church to hook into the soundboard.
So far, I only have one minor change for my Costco HIS, which is to change the volume level of the program change beeps. The all around beep is fine but the hear in noise, music and the outdoor beeps are too loud. A church member near me can hear my program change beeps. I’ll have the beeps volume turned down to the level of the all around beep.
Thanks to all of you for your comments and suggestions!
