Need 2 bluetooth connections. Is second hand phonak lumity an option?

Hi all,

I’m a 12 year phonak user, currently having marvels.
At this moment, I can’t afford new infinio spheres yet, but would be very happy having 2 bluetooth connections at the same time.

Would lumity be an option, and is there a second hand market for hearing aids, to find them for a reasonable price?

The Sennheiser Rise at Costco are believed to be rebanded Phonak Lumity, though they may be the Infinio((not Sphere). So that is a less expensive option as you wait to afford the Spheres.

The Lumity allows two active connections at the sane time, for example your phone and an IPad. In addition additional devices can be paired but not active. Used devices can be found on EBay But the safer way is the Sennheiser at Costco as mentioned above.

You can have two connections, but one active at a time. If your Roku is streaming a movie and a call comes in, the audio from Roku stops and you have the call. They can’t both be going into your ears at the same time.

They are both active in the sense that when you receive a phone call the aids automatically transfer to the call and when the the call is over the aids automatically transfer back to the other active connection. .

Yes, this will work with Lumity. I used them that way for years, always maintaining an active connection to both my personal cell and my work cell. Sometimes I’d stream things from my iPad by connecting to a Roger On via a USB cable, which effectively served as a third connection while the other two remained active. If you’ve got a Roger On, that might be an alternative to consider for the second connection.
