Hello,
Today I had my first hearing assessment since I started using my Phonak M70- SP two years ago. I also had my first-ever test while wearing hearing aids!!
I had my hearing aid in the right ear while hearing sounds coming from a speaker. When I had the hearing aid in my left ear, the specialist put something on my right ear so I wouldn’t hear from it (but I think even then, I was able to hear from the right ear, and not maybe from the left). I have no idea how validated that test was.
I forgot to bring my old assessment (or even my phone. I had a photo stored on it!!) so the audiologist couldn’t explain to me whether there were any changes.
Could you please help me understand the new assessment, compared to the old one? Do I need to adjust my aids? (The audiologist suggested to turn them up!!)
That was the test’s result with hearing aids on. Do you understand what’s written there?
Here’s the last one I had in 2024
Do you have any tips or advice I should keep in mind for next time?
Thank you!
