Settings → Accessibility → Hearing aids ->Audio Routing → Call Audio
Thank you for the reply but there is no Audio Routing option. The Rexton Reach are not AFI hearing aids and that option doesn’t appear.
My problem is when hearing aids are in use they are using their mic instead of the iPhone mic and their mic is set so low the caller cannot hear me.
Problem easily demonstrated using voice memo on phone, record with hearing aids turned off everything fine, turn on hearing aids and record and volume too low to be heard.

Yes sir there is an app but no place on it to designate which mic is used on a phone call and no way to adjust mic gain in hearing aids.
Thanks again

You can change this when you receive a call, the option should be there at the time of your call.

Thanks for the reply, yes it can be changed and iPhone mic can be selected but then in future calls everything is fine until you answer the call at which time it switches from hearing aids to iPhone and sometimes will not let you select hearing aids, It’s a mess !

There are two versions of the Rexton Reach: the new one called the Rexton Reach R Plus that uses Bluetooth classic and the Rexton Reach that is . The instruction I sent were for the non-plus version.
What you describe is the behavior of Bluetooth classic aids (like Phonaks). The advantage id that you can connect to anything that has Bluetooth (universal connectivity ) with the Reach +

I also have the Rexton Reach and yes volume using the mic on the aids can be low. I hold my hand up between my ear and mouth to force my voice to my hearing aid. This works well. Also in the rexton assistant you can increase the volume of your own voice. This also works but you will always hear your voice loud

I have an Android phone, and at the same issue. My hearing aid person was able to make the correction at Costco.

They quickly determined the were defective and recommended I try the Phillips and the Jabra’s since I got along well with the Resounds I had before the Rexton. I tried both for around 20 minutes and liked both but chose the Phillips as I felt they were more open and did better on female voices. Fitting not scheduled until November 2nd which was first available because they are so backed up.
