Do any Costco connect to two devices simultaneously and not require turning Bluetooth off on the device not in use, and then toggling Bluetooth on both in order to switch devices? The Philips 9050 does not qualify. If there is such another Costco model does it also do hands-free calling, using the mics?
I believe the question is: How can I change the device I want to stream from (Apple) without turning the off?

Bluetooth flaky – dropouts, primarily on the side of my head away from the Mac, and random clicks in the audio. My head is about 2 1/2 feet from the Mac Mini. My iPhone’s Bluetooth has much greater range.
When I turn on iPhone’s Bluetooth, the disconnect on the Mac. In System Settings::Hearing Devices they show as (implicitly still paired) but “Not connected” with the only available UI action a “Forget this Device” button. According to Perplexity (LLM) this is a known bug in macOS 26.
Are the aids available in AirPlay and , can you select them when you want to stream?
Dropouts are normal if you are away from the Mac . Bluetooth LE has a very short range
I have MacOS 26 (M1Pro) with IOS/iPadOS 26 and I have not had issues with AirPlay and the OSs
