Right hearing aid turns on and off every few seconds

I would stay away from conductive grease. It probably harmless on Phonak’s SDS 5 receivers because the pins are pretty far apart.
But on SDS 6 (and also on ReSound and possibly others) the grease might create a current path between individual pins. That wouldn’t be good.
If the connector needs cleaning use 99% alcohol.

Isn’t dielectric grease nonconductive? It should be safe even on ribbon type connections but perhaps not.

Don’t use non-conductive grease on hearing aid connectors either! It might act like an insulator and you don’t want that on a connector.
There is a reason connector pins are usually gold-plated: it prevents corrosion and reduces the resistance.

@Oticonuser, the reboot problem you describe does not sound like a receiver connector problem to me.
It seems that your powers up, and then reboots. It powers up again and reboots again.
One thing you could try is to remove the battery, clean the contacts and put it back in:

I thought that too but the OP is not getting the start up chines each time it restarts. A battery connection would trigger the chimes IMO.

I had that problem with my SIgnia. The audiologist said it was a tiny bit of normal moisture and used his magic vacuum drying machine. I bought a Perfect Dry Lux for $40.00 at Costco Com and use it daily. The problem hasn’t returned.
Note that the Perfect Dry Lux was approved as safe by Signia for all of their battery types & devices (Audiologist said OK, too.)
Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Thanks to each of you for your suggestions and input. Unfortunately, I am still having the same continual reboot issues. I do have a couple of follow-up questions please: 1) I did try to dry the unit via using rice as suggested above. Since I am still having the issue, I am wondering if I need to go the next step and purchase a Dry Lux. (Since the has not been used in over two weeks, would the moisture probably be evaporated away by now anyway? Would appreciate your thoughts.) 2) And I also did remove the battery, cleaned the contacts, and then replaced the battery. The issue continued. If I replaced the battery, would I need to go get a software upgrade for the unit to recognize the new battery? (That appears to be the case based on my research via Google, but I’m not 100% certain about that conclusion.) Thanks again for everyone’s assistance!!!

Did you try swapping the left and right battery?
You do not need to reset the battery in Genie 2. It may help the hearing aid more accurately predict battery life but I’m not sure even that is occurring and it may recalculate on its own over time.
After opening the battery door, the aids may not turn on until being placed in and removed from the charger. This may be some sort of shipping mode that is deactivated by briefly charging the aids.

Are you connected to your phone? Could be the phone is continually scanning for wifi or Bluetooth. Check location services and turn off wifi scanning and Bluetooth scanning to see if that makes a difference.

Thank you so much for taking the time to offer your suggestion. Unfortunately, the problem persisted after turning off wifi scanning and bluetooth scanning. Was certainly a good thought and worth a try. Thanks again.

Good idea to swap the batteries. Unfortunately, the right continued to turn off and on even after placing the battery from the left unit into the right one. Sounds like it must be something within the unit rather than the battery. Thanks very much for taking your time to offer a very solid troubleshooting suggestion. Was really hoping that would isolate the issue to the right battery!
