Connexx Amplifon database

Hi all!

I’m try to program Amplifon that are “white label” model of the Signia Silk C&G IX with the Connex fitting software and the ConnexAir device. When the SW try to detect the HAs it say that i need specifically the “Amplifon Database”. Is there any tips or tricks to let the system works? Thanks in advance

Hi there, unfortunately Amplifon lock them to their respective software version, this is why it’s not a good idea to buy oddball rebranded models.

Oh yeah very difficult situation, hopefully you didn’t pay much and you can move on and get another set from eBay, plenty of Signia/Rexton flavoured models around if you’ve decided this is the brand you want.

I wish we could put this warning at the top of the section: Do not buy used private label aids unless you can confirm that they are unlocked: Miracle-Ear, Amplifon, Relate, Lucid, Beltone, NuEar, Audibel, some NHS plus those without bluetooth that cannot use the Noahlink Wireless (unless you can get the CS44+ hipro or the propietary programmers cheap).

Good idea, however we haven’t as yet been able to add a “sticky” or pinned post for this.
