I recently returned my Phonak Audeo Sphere hearing aids to the .
The only redeeming factor they had was a more robust streaming.
I was 100% against rechargeable hearing aids. I’ve been converted (maybe). The sphere recharged by morning and never ran out on me. The only problem I had with it was that the hearing aids sat so far down in the charger that I ended up picking the aids up 1/2 by the hearing aid body and 1/2 by the receiver wire.
I know Ill be being seen by a different provider than the one that issued the Spheres. She is big on aids for me ( I don’t really mind this).
Overall they were just not better than the Phonak Paradise UP hearing aids that I am using now.
They are “free” from the VA, but if not better, would I pay for them out of pocket? NO.
I have no Idea which way to turn now.
Of course, I will listen to what the audiologist has to say, but she will also listen to my imput.
Anyone have any Idea what direction I could take to get a better listening experience?
Thanks in advance,
Dan
