Fitting Authorization In Target 12.0 necessary for EONs?

Donno what it really matters tho, you can still use the MK1 for , and even my original Airlink2 which I still use, still this is something to keep an eye on for future platforms releases as things could easily change, Phonak using "cybersecurity protocols" is one on most ridiculous things I've ever come across tho

I don't know if this is that ridiculous, given that recently I could tinker with my Infinio Sphere just with my laptop with Target and with my smarthphone with Blueatooth connection... We will see.

And one thing with the apps, this is already implemented, as in you can't interfere with someone else's through the app, most Apps require you to "connect" twice while setting them up as a secure connection between phone and HAs, all this for HAs just seems over the top when nobody has encountered any issues controlling other people's devices as yet, hopefully there'll never be this issue in the future.

You're right, and in case of myPhonak app there is also a login and password authorisation after instalation (and possibly updates).

As yet another data point - I connected my Eons to my laptop today, using the exact same NLW2 that I use on my desktop computer and the same version of Target, and I had to perform the button press to authorise them. Afterwards, my desktop reconnected without issue.
Baffling. I could probably find out why but I can't be bothered. At the very least, there is always the fallback to "push the button"...
