I am writing to you from the UK with a very urgent and heartfelt request. I recently purchased a pair of NHS Oticon Engage hearing aids from a private seller here, hoping to get high-quality devices for my mother who lives in Bulgaria. I wanted to provide her with the best possible care at an affordable price.
My mother is a Stage 4 cancer patient. Due to her condition, she is extremely weak and absolutely cannot travel to the UK or move around easily. I managed to send the hearing aids to Bulgaria, and she went to a local clinic to have them programmed. Unfortunately, the local audiologists told her they cannot access or program them because the devices are factory-locked by the NHS.
They told us that they need the specific regional NHS unlock code for the Oticon Genie 2 software to make the devices recognizable. Without this code, these wonderful hearing aids are completely useless to her.
I am desperately turning to this community in hopes that someone can share the Genie 2 unlock code, or point me directly to the " School PDF" guide for Unlocking ReBranded Hearing Aids. I just want to bring some comfort and joy to my mother during this incredibly difficult time in her life.
