Crackling noise

I have phonak naida s model ha’s I am having trouble with the cracking noise when making facial expressions or anything that causes my ears to move. had them 2 wks of 30 day trial period. can this be adjusted out or will I have to live with it. also when the wind blows hard they really crackle otherwise really like them. been back for adjustments twice

Sounds like your hair is rubbing on the microphones of the ’s, you can either cut your hair shorter or grow it a little longer. I’ve found that if I use my HA sweat bands I don’t get any wind noise or hair crackling noises but I’ve also gotten used to the sound and ignore it.

I get the crackly noises with my Naida S UP Everytime I smile, my hair goes on to my micophones or when the wind blows.

Audi says it coz my aids are max out.

any ideas on things to try I wear my hair short longer hair is not an option. can ha’s not be tuned for this they are very comfortable to wear just don’t like the noise

You’re not sweating are you? I have almost the same hearing aids, and I notice that happens when I sweat. If I take them out and put them in the dryer for a while, they’ll be fine (not the best solution - I know).

I’ve been meaning to try the sweat bands (hearing aid socks)…I think that may help.
